Some of you may remember earlier photos from this project in my post
Projects Underway.
Here's an update!
| The concrete pathway is poured to meet existing pathway. |
| Concrete blocks mark the corner of the walls and location of the steps down to street level. |
| Stacked concrete blocks give me a 'visual' of the finished height of the brick wall. |
| Looking at house from street level. |
| Brick steps are set and mortar is installed in joints. |
| The orange plastic plates reserve places for lighting. |
| Notice the square corner on top of the brick wall. I prefer this detail rather than a bias cut which would leave two triangles and look less substantial. |
| Metal edging is staked temporarily to mark the half-circle of lawn. An evergreen hedge will reside between the brick wall and the flat edge of the lawn. |
| Metal edged gravel path leads from lawn to side of house. |
| Path to side of house. |
...and now we wait for some dry weather!

Looking great! (and muddy) I enjoyed the plastic hoops and tunnel too. Maybe I need to set up something like that so I can get my Bishops Weed project moving forward.
Yep, pretty muddy and the soil has been covered in plastic most of the last month and one half! When the 'hoop house' has its plastic on the interior is surprisingly warm too.
