Architectural find!

On one of my recent 'out and abouts' I stumbled across a cool little neighborhood with a FANTASTIC house in it!

Gorgeous textural play with the Cor-ten skin and vertical cedar (?)

The architect or designer is brilliant at balancing vertical and horizontal lines!

I want to stand inside and look out all of the windows! I love this house!

that's a GOOD use of Cor-ten! They need some landscape help though, did you give them your card?

When I shared this post in Facebook, I found that this house was designed by Darin Dougherty formerly of SEED Architecture - Portland is a small world!
Danger Garden - hope you don't mind!
Ryan, YES! I didn't but should and may just make myself!

Really!? I used to work with Amy, Darin's wife, also an architect and part of SEED. Before they left moved to California. Small world indeed.
