Oregon Coast-Manzanita/Nehalem

 It was a perfect day, late morning, the clouds had 'burned off' and I was on my way to the top of Neahkahnie Mountain. Through the forest, we climbed and climbed, stopping to catch my breath and catch sight of the flora under foot, I spot Lilium columbianum


and carpets of Claytonia siberica (I think!)




When we reached the top, sunlit wildflowers covered the ground and

this is the view down onto the ocean!

This is a fabulous hike on a clear day!!
